Terms of Business
1. Introduction
These Terms of Business govern all services provided by Purple Cleaning Services Ltd (“the Agency”).
By booking a service, requesting a cleaner, or engaging any worker introduced by us, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Our Services
We provide:

Domestic & corporate cleaning services
-
Temporary and regular cleaning staff
-
One-off and recurring bookings
We aim to match reliable and suitable cleaners to your requirements. However, once a cleaner has been introduced, responsibility for supervising their work and any outcomes rests with the Client.
3. Bookings & Service Structure
Services may be provided on:

Hourly basis (subject to agreed minimum hours), or
-
Fixed price basis (recommended for larger properties)
Where a fixed price is agreed, the service is based on completion of the agreed cleaning standard, not time spent.
4. Pricing & Fees
4.1 Hourly Services

Charged at the agreed hourly rate

Minimum hours may apply
-
Final cost based on time worked
4.2 Fixed Price Services
-
A set price is agreed in advance
-
Cleaner will take the time required to complete the job to standard
-
Not limited by hours
5. Payments
-
Payment is due before or on the day of service, unless agreed otherwise
-
We accept bank transfer, card, or cash
-
Late payments may result in suspension of future services
All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

48+ hours notice: no charge
-
24–48 hours: 50% fee
-
Under 24 hours: full fee
-
No access / no-show: full fee
7. Access to Property
The Client must ensure safe and timely access to the property.
If access is not provided at the agreed time:
-
The booking may be cancelled
-
Full charges may apply
Cleaners may refuse to work in unsafe or unsuitable conditions.
8. Scope of Cleaning
Cleaning is carried out based on:
-
Time booked (hourly), or
-
Agreed outcome (fixed price)
We do not guarantee completion of all tasks if:
-
Insufficient time is booked
-
Property condition exceeds expectations
We recommend fixed pricing for larger homes to ensure full coverage.
9. Liability
We hold public liability insurance and take care in delivering our services.
However, we are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage
-
Wear and tear
-
Fragile or unsecured items
-
Loss of cash or valuables
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
10. Damage Claims

Must be reported within 24 hours of service
-
Claims submitted after this may not be accepted
Where liability is confirmed, we will:

Repair, replace, or compensate at our discretion
11. Conduct
We operate a zero-tolerance policy for:
-
Abuse
-
Harassment
-
Unsafe environments
We reserve the right to withdraw services immediately if necessary.
12. Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Your data is used only to deliver our services

We do not sell or share data with third parties
-
You may request access or deletion at any time
13. Confidentiality
Cleaner and client details must not be shared with third parties without consent.
Any direct engagement of a cleaner introduced by us may result in a placement fee.
14. Termination of Services
Either party may cancel regular services with reasonable notice.
We reserve the right to terminate services if:

Terms are breached

Payments are not made
-
Conditions are unsafe
15. General

These terms represent the full agreement

Any changes must be agreed in writing

Governed by the laws of England and Wales
